FURTHER ACTION.

Dear Reeves,

An official letter

is going to you about the

Engineer Surveyors for Hong Kong,

and this letter is to confirm

the provisional arrangements

which I made with you on the

telephone.

As you know, Hole has

recommended that, as trained

candidates cannot be obtained,

two untrained men should be

selected of whom one should be

sent to Hong Kong at once and

the other should take the

ordinary course of training in

this country under the Board of

Trade
